Mashgiach Fees

A non-working Mashgiach - i.e., someone whose sole responsibility is to act as a Mashgiach - approved by the Rabbi, is required at every function held at the YIS where hot food will be served or food preparation is involved.  For catered events, your caterer must supply a Mashgiach.  For drop-offs, where hot food will be served,  the YIS can provide a Mashgiach, and a Mashgiach Fee, determined by the Shul will be applied.  This fee is payable in full in advance of your event.

Security Fees

A Security Fee will be imposed with respect to all private functions taking place in the Synagogue.
The amount of the Security Fee will be based on the Synagogue’s cost of providing security
beginning one half hour before the start of the function and ending one-half hour after the
completion of the function. The number of security guards required will be determined at the sole
discretion of the Synagogue. The Security Fee is payable at the time the balance of the Facility Use
Fee is due.
